Brian Fitzpatrick (Republican)

U.S. Representative and Republican. Fitzpatrick’s record on abortion is mixed but overall leans toward restricting abortion compared with many Democratic politicians. He has supported a 20-week federal abortion ban in the past and voted against the Women’s Health Protection Act (which would have broadly protected abortion rights at the federal level). Another Democratic candidate for Congress. Like other newer or less-covered candidates, we couldn’t find a clear public position on abortion regulations. As with the other Democratic challengers, it’s typical (but not guaranteed) that he would support maintaining access to abortion and oppose strict bans. Pennsylvania Governor Race Candidates

Josh Shapiro (Democratic)

Governor of Pennsylvania and Democrat. Shapiro has supported protecting abortion rights in Pennsylvania and signed measures opposing extreme anti-abortion policies.
